Which dogs are best for kids?

There are so many different dog breeds out there. How do you choose which one will be best for your family? Well, the best way is to choose a breed by it’s temperament, disposition, energy level, and size.

Here are three dogs that are great for kids:

Golden Retriever

They are kind, smart, confident and loyal. They are also not aggressive and are very patient – which is good for kids. Golden Retrievers love to play.

Newfoundland also known as “Nature’s Babysitter”

They love children and feel the need to protect them. They are gentle, kind and patient. They need lots of space to play around. The Newfoundland is known to drool and shed excessively, so you would think they’d need to be in the yard? No, they actually want to be inside with the family

Vizsla

These beautiful dogs are one of the best breeds for kids. Gentle mannered, loyal, affectionate and quiet, therefore perfect for your little ones to play with. They tend to form close bonds with the family. They also learn new tricks quickly. So, if you are looking for a new four-legged pal, remember that every individual dog is different and keep in mind that highly-strung small dogs are usually not the best choice for kids. Whichever breed you choose, make sure you’ve done your research. Good luck!
