Tell us a bit more about what you do: My passion has always been dog training, so we work daily with the dogs in our care with training and enrichment. My dream was always to make a shelter more like a holiday camp and that’s what we strive to do. In my previous life, I worked in TV production, so I spend a large part of my time creating media projects.
What do you love about what you do: That we save and enrich lives of dogs everyday. Nothing like that first sloppy kiss from a terrified abused dog to know your purpose in life.
Which is your favourite Regal product: Regal Pet Health Stress and Anxiety Remedy – it has helped us start the journey of trust with badly abused dogs on many occasions.

How many pets do you have at home: 5 dogs
Most memorable moment in charity: Every adoption is my most precious and memorable moment. We work so closely with our dogs each day and become so attached to them. We all know that we are striving to find them a forever home but we all still shed a tear as each one leaves the nest to go and live their best life.
Anything else you’d like to add: There’s no greater honour than working day in and day out to make dogs lives better.
We get to see the best of people but sadly also the worst of people but thankfully we have the dogs unconditional love to remind us why we are going through all this heartache and stress. Then of course there is nothing better than seeing a dogs journey to fruition. Coming in as a scared dog thinking all humans want to hurt them, to them falling in love with their caregivers and spending their days learning to trust humans and have fun. Then finally as the trainer takes the dog to their forever home after our matchmakers have done an in-depth adoption process to make sure that there will only be happiness in their lives from now on.
